November 30, 20223 yr Hi, I just got started with Unraid and I want to use it to try experimenting with VMs. One I want to try and run on my server is Trace Labs' custom OSINT VM, but it only comes as an OVA. I extracted the contents of the OVA to get the VMDK file, and placed it in a new folder in the domains share. I have been trying to use the general linux VM option to create a VM through the manager in Unraid. I set the vDisk to manual and point to the VMDK file in the "Trace Labs" folder in the domains share. The VM boots, but all I get is this Any help would be appreciated, this would also help anyone else trying to run OVAs as VMs on their servers. November 30, 20223 yr Solution OVA seems somewhat broken, get the iso and install clean instead? Edited November 30, 20223 yr by Kilrah
