My cache SSD has been unmountable and I can't really figure out why. I've wiped all partitions, booted into Gparted and done it manually, precleared, tried different ports, and nothing seems to be working. It is always busy for some reason even when unmounted.

    Try rebooting, then immediately running 

    blkdiscard -f /dev/sdX

    then try formatting again.
