December 5, 20223 yr I've never used unRAID or anything like it. So bear with me. I just installed it on a PC i put a bunch of spare HD's in. Before it finished the Parity check both the docker and Libvirt service failed. I thought I might need to wait till that was done for them to work. That seems to not be the case. I have rebooted twice to see if that would help. That is all I know to do. Thank you for any help beforehand. wittytutmedia-diagnostics-20221205-0745.zip
December 5, 20223 yr Community Expert Have you formatted any of the disks to set up an empty file system on them? If not that would explain why the services do not start
December 5, 20223 yr Author Thank you for that information! I had indeed not formatted any drive and now the vm service starts but docker service still fails to start.
December 5, 20223 yr Community Expert Dec 5 07:46:13 Wittytutmedia emhttpd: shcmd (169): /usr/local/sbin/mount_image '/mnt/user0/docker.img' /var/lib/docker 20 Dec 5 07:46:13 Wittytutmedia root: truncate: cannot open '/mnt/disk10/docker.img' for writing: No such file or directory Not sure why /mnt/user0 is trying to write the image to disk10 which does not exist, but change that to /mnt/user/system/docker.img (Settings -> Docker settings) Edited to add the share, you cannot use just /mnt/user0 or user
December 5, 20223 yr Author Done, restarted, still no docker service. New file wittytutmedia-diagnostics-20221205-1136.zip
December 5, 20223 yr Community Expert Solution You missed my edit, it cannot be just /mnt/user/docker.img, must be /mnt/user/share_name/docker.img, by default it's /mnt/user/system/
