static ipaddress question

because of airvideo and istat i want to give my server a static ip i have one question when i go to edit the network.cfg i have these to edit

do i change dhcp to no??? i know what to put in the other stuff but im assuming that dhcp has to be no. thanks!

change it through the web interface of unRAID.

ok the wiki says to plug the drive into my pc..maybe that needs to be updated? but do i put dhcp as no??

If you can boot the unRAID machine with the USB drive in then you can get to the unRAID webGUI.  From there you can change the DHCP settings to your liking.

thanks everyone! thanks steven my default set up has just those tops 4 lines that i posted. i imagine that should be sufficient enough. thanks again (=

 

*correction in the web gui i see the other options...forgot pro said to do it through web..ha

well im back which is no surprise i cant ever get anything right...so i put the static ipaddress on and i can access server like normal through web gui and through network on windows but i cant access air video now it says cannot connect to server before this it would access it although i couldnt get my videos but thats another issue all together. should i create a new thread?
