December 7, 20223 yr i have a few vm's Linux and Windows and all they work fine. I have been trying to set up a new Linux Mint VM's and what ever I do it deosn't start all I have is a blank screen. I am at a loss as I made a new Linux VM just last week and no issues. Things I have tried. Using VNU this just gives me a message saying guest has not yet started coping settings from working linux mint xml Still shows it started but nothing using older version of Machine Q35 to match wroking vms Shows started but nothing Using different NVME drives Using differnt Grpahics card Not using the onbord sound Minimising the components used Diffent install media (not ideal) Checking all plugins /dockers are up to date Making sure unraid is update (cur. 6.11.5) All give me a blank screen and show started I have edited current machine and they still work fine after so am at a lose to what is going on. Any pointer would be appreciated
December 7, 20223 yr Author UPDATE: I have successsfully installed Linux mint by only setting disk size and everything else default. This is not ideal but the idea was then to increase the settings to requeried. As soon as I change anything it stopped working. I do have this line in the virt logs. 2022-12-07 11:02:12.032+0000: 10614: error : virNetSocketReadWire:1791 : End of file while reading data: Input/output error Some googling does show I am not the only one but no real solutions with a scenario simalar to this
