Slow after addition of Parity Drive

I just added my parity drive today and now the server is running significantly slower.  The parity sync finished and my transfer speeds have dropped from a previous high of ~85MB/s to a meager 19MB/s.  The only change was that I finally got around to adding the parity drive.  I had an issue with the MBR of the parity drive, but Joe L. was nice enough to help me out in this thread.  I'm not sure if my creation of a file system on the other two drives contributed to this problem, but thought it should be mentioned.
