johnp12 Posted July 9, 2011 Share Posted July 9, 2011 Hello, I recently setup a small unraid box with just 3 disks laying around (different sizes), all worked well,I then replaced 2 of the small disks with 2 2tb disks, and they both have a green dot next to them and say unformatted, when I click to format it says format started but after refreshing saying unformatted again. any ideas? I appologize but I am brand new to UnRaid.... Thanks Link to comment

That "formatting" step is performed after you assign the disk to the array and after it shows up in the management display as unformatted. (it them presents you a "Format" button that will format the drive) Link to comment
