July 9, 201114 yr Can I get some comments on this Tiger Direct combo as a good starting point. Will have 6 drives to start with http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=808302&Sku=B69-0393 I don't think I have found anything on this MSI MB here. I may have missed it. Thanks Ed
July 9, 201114 yr ...mobo appears to be fitted with a RealTek 8111E NIC. See the section under "Hardware known to NOT work" in the wiki: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Hardware_Compatibility The deal gives no info what kind of PSU (maker, model) is fitted inside the case. No. 1 feature would be a single 12V rail...no info on that either.

July 21, 201114 yr Author Thanks, I geathered as much after re-reading his post. Still looking fo some sort of combo from Tiger that will work with Unraid and up to 10 or so drives. Again thanks Ed
July 21, 201114 yr Honestly, I wouldn't hold out for a tiger combo, they tend to not be very good. They are always missing one crucial thing. Most of the Tiger combos are intended as gaming computers. An ideal unRAID combo would feature a motherboard well known to be compatible with unRAID, a low power CPU, no video card, budget RAM, a highly efficient PSU, and a case with lots of expandability. Best of lucking finding one, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
