    Yep. Assuming you mean using the m.2 in question for the VM, then the two options are mutually exclusive.

    Hi JonathanM, I don't think they are mutually exclusive, one can have an hostdev block for the m.2 controller and have a vdisk attached to a virtual controller, obviously saved somewhere other than the m.2.

    This discussion has no replies because there are no data to read, what he should expect to obtain, if he's only saying "I have a problem".....
