December 16, 20223 yr Hey Everyone, I have recently been more engery concious and as such tried to scheduel everyting such that array disk spin. Unfortunately though within 60seconds the drives spin back up. I have tried turning all dockers and VM's off and still the issue is occuring. I have no actives streams, file activity comes up with nothing, and still the below happen Anyone have any next steps? Thanks!

Try installing file activity plugin to see if any files being written. Do you have any plugins installed that may be checking disk status with smartctl? post diagnostics

Do you have any plugins installed that may be checking disk status with smartctl? post diagnostics I have checked actives streams and files and nothing seems to be access, it also doesnt matter what scheduel i set the drives to spin down, 10 minutes of 3 hrs the drives immediately spin back up. i tried deleting any plugin i thought could be causing it but with no luck. Unfortunately yes i tried both with a restart inbetween and still straght away. I have an LSI sata controller that i thought may be the issue, but i have one drive that is connected directly to the Motherboard and that has exactly the same issue
January 15, 20233 yr Author So for an unrelated reason i have upgraded my sever, so completely new Motherboard, CPU and RAM, i also took out the LSI card and annoyingly the issue is still occuring. Not to sure what the next steps should be?
