July 11, 201114 yr unraid 4.7 ok this is a bit complicated. one of my drives was showing the odd hiccup and the smart report was showing a v high (6million +) hardware ecc correct count. So I decided to replace it with a larger drive. put in new drive, drive rebuild starts. The new drive craps out 11% in and in doing that i get 87 parity errors. take out new drive and put the old one in, to run a parity check and hopefully fix those errors before putting a new placement in. but now i get a 'replacement disk is too small' error. is there any way i can get around this? cheers
July 12, 201114 yr I'm an UnRAID noob and don't even have mine fully operational yet, but I've been reading around the forums a lot. Saw a similar post the other day. It's probably just because that hard drive is bad (as you said it is) so it seems to have trouble with it. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=13861.0
