No option for vDisk Size during VM creation.

Featured Replies

Wondering what am I missing here, using the latest unraid version but for some reason when creating a Win10 VM the primary vDisk Size option is not available, the second vDisk does show the size option - as seen in the screenshot below.

It only happens for Win10, when trying to create a Win11 or Win8 VM the vDisk Size is present, also on my primary server the Win10 creation works just fine.

Have you tried the usual suspects : clearing cache, another browser, etc. ?

I just tried and it's there.

Likely the image files are already in there. have you deleted the VM without removing the disks? or are you trying to create a 2nd Win10 machine and not changed the name as yet?

ls /mnt/user/domains/Windows 10/

The clear cache and other browser solutions did not work :(

What about Simon's hypothesis ?

It seemed much better than mine.

That worked. I did not think of checking the domains folder because I usually delete the both the VM and the disk.

Thanks SimonF and ChatNoir for your help!

I have the same problem with a Home Assistant VM - the field for the vdisk size is also not displayed.

To be honest, I don't understand the solution 😶. Can someone explain it to me again?
