Stacking 2x Baremetal Hosts with Unraid

Featured Replies

Hello,

first of all I'm pretty new to this whole unraid thing so please don't judge.

To clarify I have a unraid Server at home. Working fine and I'm pretty happy with it.
The unraid is running on an "HP Elite 8300 SFF Intel Core i5-3470 16GB".

I got this computer for free from my work.
Now I got to the point where I'm running multiple docker and VM's on this machine and of course this isn't a new computer/server.
That meams I come to running out of computer resources.

So now I got a second HP Elite 8300 from my work. My question is:

Can I run unraid as "Stack" on multiple Baremetal Server?

Is unraid even able to do something like this?

Perfect would be if I could for example move vms/docker from on to the other host, but I think something like this is only for system likes VMWare?

Thanks in advanced!
