December 22, 20223 yr hey folks. ive got a bit of a problem with my unraid server. i recently swapped all my drives out for sas drives in my dell r710. in system devices it picks up the drives but it wont let me add them to the array. it does not even show them in unassigned devices and im at a loss of what to do. here is the diagnostics file. please let me know what step im missing. thank you dell710server2-diagnostics-20221222-1821.zip
December 23, 20223 yr Community Expert Logical block size: 520 bytes You need to re-format the drives to 512B sector size.
December 26, 20223 yr Community Expert Unraid doesn't include a tool for that, but you should be hable to install sg_utils, if you search for that in the forum or Google you see how to do it.
