July 13, 201114 yr Came home today & all the network shares were down. Checked the unraid server & it had crashed. Hit the reset button & it got to the first beep & then rebooted itself. Powered down/up & it hanged. I took a picture of the screen as seen below. Is there no hope at all or is this a total wipeout.

The image is a good thing to have but we also need a complete hardware breakdown to start any suggestions. I would first check the flash drive and make sure it is still operating properly. run a checkdisk on it from a windows machine.
July 14, 201114 yr Author Ok I tried rebooting a 3rd time & she came up Kingston Flash Product: DataTraveler_2.0 (2GB) All 4 Western Digital & 1 Samsung as parity (I have a 5th WD but it is 7200rpm & consistently gets over 40C) parity device: pci-0000:00:14.1-ide-1:0 ide1 (hdc) SAMSUNG_HD103SI_S1VSJDWS808104 disk1 device: pci-0000:00:11.0-scsi-3:0:0:0 host4 (sdd) WDC_WD5000AADS-00S9B0_WD-WCAV90389774 disk2 device: pci-0000:00:14.1-ide-1:1 ide1 (hdd) WDC_WD5000AAKS-00UU3A0_WD-WCAYU0346007 disk3 device: pci-0000:00:11.0-scsi-0:0:0:0 host1 (sda) WDC_WD10EADS-00P6B0_WD-WCAV5S082699 disk4 device: pci-0000:00:11.0-scsi-2:0:0:0 host3 (sdc) WDC_WD10EADS-00P6B0_WD-WCAV5S617251 syslog included. I will shut the array down now & do the chkdisk on the Kingston & then run the memory test. valhalla-syslog.txt
July 14, 201114 yr Author chkdsk did find some errors, which I let it repair. I did not, however, let it convert lost chains into files. Memory test is underway.
