Unraid removal from system

Featured Replies

So obviously I have a unraid server, it is running on my old gaming pc. I plan on repurposing it so it was decided that I was going to remove unraid from it and all the data stored on the array was going to be moved to my main system for the time being.

my question to you guys(because I guess I don’t know how to word the question?) is how can I remove all the drives from the array without having to wipe the data from it and have it in windows usable format?

Windows can't read Linux filesystems, but each array data disk can be read separately on any Linux.

Can you boot your Unraid system? That would be the easiest since you could make parity an Unassigned Device, format it as NTFS, copy largest data disk to that, New Config without the copied disk, make it Unassigned NTFS, copy next, repeat as necessary.
