I have read through the forum, but could not find a topic on this.

 

I am trying to get a new version of LLINK for my unraid setup (Prefer 2.30 or otherwise 2.25) - I tried to install the binary 2.24 but get all kinds of sso lib errors, and am too much of a LINUX noob, and had to revert back to 2.20

 

A small how-to would be much appriciated, thank you for viewing/helping!

...just to clarify some parts of your story...

- you have/had v2.20 up and running fine?

  - on unRAID?

  - with what version of unRAID?

  - what binary from which source is this (possibly Linux flavour, direct from the Llink site?)

 

- v2.2.4 you mentioned..

  - again, what binary from which source

  - again, for what version of unRAID

 

- what exactly is your v2.2.4 binary complaining about...can you provide an output/log  of that?

 

- v2.2.5 is of the testing branch...I am just curious...what feature/bugfix besides the natural itch bothers

  you that much, forcing you to switch from a running 2.2.0 ?

Reason for upgrade would be that I am interested in getting uPNP working with my PS3

OK, I gave a quick look...here's the reason why...

 

- v220 binaries seem to be compiled static, which means all required third party libraries are build-in.

- v224 binaries are compiled with shared libs. This makes the binaries smaller...and the package, because the libraries are not shipped.  

 

You have two options:

 

- find someone who will compile a static build or try and do this yourself

- find the required libs, identify the missing ones and try to source them from somewhere else (based on a slack 13.1 repo, for unRAID 5.b6)

 

...looks like the source tree for 2.30 is not packaged yet....last available is 2.2.5

Maybe you could contact the source of origin and ask for the timeline when a binary package will be released or offer to beta-test ;-)

So let me try to ask the UNRAID community, as I am sure I am not the only one using LLINK?

 

Anybody out there that has v224, v225 and perhaps even v230 packed/complied and is will to share with myself and this community?
