Hi,

 

I'm in the process of researching hardware to use for an unRAID server.  Ideally, I'd like to get a motherboard, CPU and RAM for under $200. 

 

Is anyone using unRAID with the Asus P5L-MX?  On first glance this motherboard looks like it would be perfect for unRAID:

 

  • Intel ICH7 chipset
  • On-board video
  • Attansic L1 Gigabit pciE (included in Linux 2.6.21 -- and supports jumbo frames)
  • 4 x SATA ports
  • Cheap! ($85 locally)

 

Based on the specs and on the research I've done it sounds like it should work perfectly.  Anyone?
