TheMannequin
Hi all, I need to upgrade my disks, as I'm sitting at over 95% used now...BUT, I live in South Africa, and currently we get load-shedding every 6 hours or so.....that means no power. I have my server on a UPS for clean shutdowns. Question is will unRAID be able to handle the constant power outages while clearing disks and doing parity rebuilds etc? Thanks Quote Link to comment

Not normally - it would keep restarting such operations from the beginning. if you install the Parity Check Tuning plugin then it has the option to resume such operations from the point reached (as long as the shutdown was a tidy one). 0ne restriction (at the moment) is that the array is not auto-started so you have to manually start the array to continue the operation. 1 Quote Link to comment
