BRiT
Are you using a GIGABIT NIC on both systems with a Gigabit Switch/Router inbetween with Gigabit capable CAT-5e or CAT-6 cables? What does the following display: ethtool eth0 on the unRAID telnet session? Quote Link to comment

GIGABIT NIC on unraid , GIGABIT NIC on pc connected through a netgear WIRELESS ROUTER WNR2000 , cable is cat6 Quote Link to comment
AlphaBravo
The WNR2000 is only Fast Ethernet according to http://www.netgear.com/service-provider/products/routers-and-gateways/fast-ethernet-routers-gateways/WNR2000.aspx, so that's probably your problem. Quote Link to comment

BRiT
Just pickup a cheap Gigabit Switch to plug your internal devices into and then plug the switch into your router. Newegg typically carries some like this Trendnet 5Port Gigabit Switch for $25. Quote Link to comment
AlphaBravo
You could go with a simple gigabit switch to connect the wired stuff and the wireless router. If you want to stick with Netgear, http://www.netgear.com/home/products/wireless-range-extenders/unmanaged-switches/GS605.aspx could be a decent choice. Quote Link to comment

AlphaBravo
As long as you make sure all PCs have a Gigabit NIC and are connected to that switch, you should see an improvement in speed (my unraid server does about 25 MB/sec to a parity protected share and 75-85MB/sec to the cache drive) Quote Link to comment
