January 13, 20233 yr I just picked up a KTN-STL3. Got a nice deal on one with come caddies, and I am needing a way to connect 8 hard drives, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I know several people on here have these, and was wanting to get some idea of what to expect? I know about the formatting to 512b thing, and I've got an external HBA. What kind of performance should I expect? Can it be used with something like Plex? Are there better, reasonably priced options out there? Thanks!
