July 18, 201114 yr I am having some video stuttering issues and running 5b9 How do I downgrade to 4.7, is this just a case and copying the bzroot and bzimage files as normal? I should add that I have searched the forum, and it would appear that some people are having permission / share problems in downgrading Is their any offical procedure?
July 19, 201114 yr I will let the experts give you more detail, but the understanding I have is it is not as easy as copying those files to the flash drive. Look in the Wiki it should give you details on how to properly accomplish this. On a side note, are you sure it's not a network problem vise an UnRaid Beta problem?
August 5, 201114 yr I don't think there is a defined process. I would start with a parity check. Take screen shot of disk assignments to slots. Then copy over the two files for 4.7. The layout of the super.dat file has changed so going back may not recognize it. You may need to do an initconfig and then rebuild parity or follow the trust procedure in 4.7.
