machineglow
Hey Guys, I'm migrating a homebridge VM to run in unraid docker app and I've discovered several tools and packages that don't come preinstalled on the official onzu/homebridge docker app. I can log into to the console and install those packages manually but rebooting/restarting the app wipes out the changes. I understand that the docker image probably needs to be updated with these packages but I don't really know how to do that. Can someone guide me on this process? do I somehow create my own docker image based off of the official homebridge docker image? I basically just need to install the dnsutils package and some additional python modules. Thanks, Edited January 19 by machineglow Quote Link to comment
Solution machineglow Posted January 20 Author Solution Share Posted January 20 Okay.. i figured it out. There's a startup.sh script in the /homebridge directory that i can add the package installation commands in. Hope that helps anyone else reading this. Quote Link to comment
