I have a W11 Q35 6.2 VM with GPU, USB controller and NVME passed through ( needed to set PCIe ACS override: to both to get the USB in its own group ) all works fine from a desktop / browsing role, but gaming is slow so i fired up samsung magician an ran a performance test:

 

in the unraid VM i get around 32k IOPS and 1100MB/s

 

rebooted unraid server and booted directly off the NVME drive and reran the tests and got 250k IOPS and 3500MB/s

 

is there any other settings that can give me the bare metal performance ?
