UPS Problem: UnRAID doesn't power up with USB cable plugged in

Featured Replies

I am using unRAID v4.7, and it is attached to an APC SMX-1000 with apcusbd v3.14.3.  A few nights ago, there was a power outage, and the server was cleanly shutdown.  Although I configured the UPS to be powered off after shutdown, I don't think it was.  I flipped the switch on the power supply to the server just as a precautionary measure since I couldn't stay up to observer any weird behavior.

In any case, the power was restored by morning, and I had a full battery on the UPS.  I tried to boot the server, but it almost goes into POST, and then it shuts down.  The display of the UPS says: "UPS StayOff by UI for 60" and just sits there with no count down.  I unplugged the USB cable, and the server booted fine.  As soon as plug in the USB cable, the power shuts down, and the same message appears.

I did a search on Google, and didn't really come up with any solutions (http://goo.gl/oMzAZ).  There's something about a delaywithreboot option but there doesn't seem to be anything like that in the package.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
