January 23, 20233 yr Hi Guys, I Got my server for a while now but i don't know since when it happend. But I have realy poor performance issues. I'ts been a realy fast machine before and i don't know where to look at.... The biggest issue so far is my NVME drive maxes out at about 180mb/s read or write. When i tested unplugged the unraid usb and booted directly from that drive i'd reach about 3000mb/s read/write..... What i tried: -create new vm with the same hardware forwarding -try different methodes of forwarding/assigning the drive -tried without the unraid interferring which luckily worked like a charm The only component that did not seem to suffer this big using passmark was the 3d perfromance of my 1080ti Cpu, ram, 2d, and storage are dramaticly down from what it was the second after i got the new hardware running (around may 2022). I am not using the array for storage. for this VM My cache disk (128gb) Nvme reaches about 600mb/s writing downloads to my 7-disk ZFS raid storge on the same machine hardware I added 3 screenshot -1 on baremetal with a P2000 card i got for plex. dated yesterday -1 with the vm but with the poor performance from a week ago or so -And the other from may 2022 I hope some has an idea where to look at. wesselflix-diagnostics-20230123-1350.zip Edited January 23, 20233 yr by Wesselvdb
January 23, 20233 yr Author Yes, but the Vm is installed on a dedicated unassigned drive. Also it worked on high speed before so how is it possible it stopped doing that?
