Legacy Bios to UEFI

Featured Replies

Hey,

I have been using the trial version of Unraid on an OLD! machine.  It is an ASUS P5Q-EM motherboard with an E8400 CPU.  When I created the boot disk for this I unchecked allow UEFI boot.  I am going to stick with unraid and want to move it to a newer device that has UEFI.  Is it possible to change this option?  Will just moving the stick and array over to the new machine have any issues with it unchecked?  The new unit is a Z590 and 10400 CPU?  Let me know what I should do.

Thanks

Drew

Rename EFI- to EFI on the flash drive and UEFI boot will be allowed, together with legacy/CSM boot.
