Everything about your configuration is on your flash drive in the config folder. That includes your license, all settings from the webUI including disk assignments, docker templates, plugins, share settings, users... Nothing about Unraid OS or your configuration is stored on your data drives. It is all on flash. Sounds like you may have gone about the upgrade the wrong way.
