SimpleJoe
Hi everyone, I want to try moving my current gaming PC onto a VM on my server (currently a 10900x and X299 UD4) as I don't have aircon in my office. Currently, the UD4 motherboard that I have won't have enough PCIe slots to allow me to pass through a USB card and GPU to my gaming VM. But, there is a Asus X299 Sage motherboard local to me that is going for a bargain, but I am concerned about how the PLX chips will behave when trying to pass through specific slots. I can't really find any information on if these boards split everything out like a standard motherboard would, or if everything run by the PLX chip will be grouped no matter what. If anyone has used this or a board like it before please let me know. Quote Link to comment
