User Shares disappeared

Featured Replies

Recently all of my user shares disappeared. There is now a new disk share. This disk share contains all my user shares, that where disappeared. They were under /mnt/user and now they are under /mnt/disk. /mnt/user no longer exists. Vms and Docker are not working anymore, because all my docker and vm images were on one of these shares. How can I remount them as user shares like before?

Did you accidentally enable disk shares under global share settings? Flip that back to auto and user shares to enabled and that should hopefully fix it

I already tried disk shares with the options "auto" and "no", still not working. Disk share appears with the option "auto" and disappears with the option "no". User Shares still don't appear

How is the /mnt/user/zfs created? Lots of errors in syslog related to that. Anything under /mnt/user is a user share, so if you actually mounted a zfs filesystem there, try moving it to a different path

/mnt/user must not be used for any extra mounts, correct that and reboot.

Its created via the ZFS Master Plugin. The disk of this /mnt/user/zfs is not mounted (Dev 1)1764939269_Screenshot2023-01-30131851.thumb.jpg.eb015e89adeb7eb8ca9e1b3d4e0619f0.jpg

Thank you. This worked. Where is the best location to mount my zfs filesystem? Is under /mnt/ good?

I have mine mounted under /zdata, I leave /mnt aside for unraid to manage

Unraid will support zfs with version 6.12, so there might be a better recommendation by then
