Hello all, I have been trying to ssh into my server for quite some time to try and fix my docker having updates "not available" issues.

I have been using the "ssh [email protected]" in therminal on PC and MAC but it will not accept my password ever after I made a stupid easy password of password, which I have since changed to a secure password.

I have Use SSH set to Yes in settings on port 22 and Use SSL/TLS:, Use UPnP:, and Use TELNET set to NO

What am I missing?

I have been getting this in my log after each time i try to SSH in

Jan 31 22:12:19 TheHouse  sshd[26151]: error: PAM: Authentication failure for root from 192.168.0.232
Jan 31 22:12:19 TheHouse  sshd[26151]: Failed keyboard-interactive/pam for root from 192.168.0.232 port 54377 ssh2
Jan 31 22:12:19 TheHouse  sshd[26151]: Postponed keyboard-interactive for root from 192.168.0.232 port 54377 ssh2 [preauth]
Jan 31 22:12:22 TheHouse  sshd[26489]: pam_unix(sshd:auth): authentication failure; logname= uid=0 euid=0 tty=ssh ruser= rhost=192.168.0.232  user=root

Thanks for your help!

SSH is disabled on every machine I know/manage. I'm sure you can fix everything when you plug a real cable into it.
