VRSINAS
So my unraid server was failing so I moved both my drives to the new PC and then put in my flash drive. It will not boot with UEFI or bios with both setups to boot to USB. I can then force it in the bios to boot to it and runs. My old PC only had the bios option new one has both bios UEFI and would like to use UEFI. What can I do to solve this problem? So I also downloaded a USB tool and made a brand new one that booted UEFI just fine. I installed the USB tool and selected my recovery file and still have to put my system to bios and then have to manually select boot. What do I do to remedy this Edited February 3, 2023 by VRSINAS Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Check the board BIOS, boot order is selected there, nothing you can do on the Unraid side. Quote Link to comment
VRSINAS
All the boot order is proper. I verified it 200 times. Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
You can post a photo of the BIOS boot options, but if the UEFI flash drive is selected as the 1st boot device it could be a BIOS issue. Quote Link to comment
Solution VRSINAS Posted February 3, 2023 Author Solution Share Posted February 3, 2023 So, this was problem Since old system only had Bios Not UEFI you have to change EFI- to just EFI not boots proper. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Ahh, I misunderstood your problem, I though it only booted if you manually chose the UEFI flash drive, glad it's sorted. Quote Link to comment
