how can I correct the time in the VM bios?

Hi, 

my system is located in the CET timezone and the system bios is set accordingly. However when I start a VM, I get the clock set to a totally different time, by the look of it it must be US central or US pacific, albeit the windows setting, in the VM is set for the CET time zone. I have to speculate it is the OVMF bios which has a different setting. How do I correct it?
