issue with my Unraid

Featured Replies

Hi
I'm having a problem with my unraid system. At first, a message "DEVICE IS DISABLED, CONTENTS EMULATED" appeared on one of the disks. So I thought that the disk was broken and I added another disk of the same size and also replaced the cache disk with another m.2 disk (I followed the correct steps in replacing the cache disk)..but so far none of my files have appeared.. What is the way to recover the stored data?

Thanks

Adding a new disk like you did wouldn't help with replacing a disabled disk, and after that the diags show you also did a new config, so because of that you now lost the ability to rebuild it, as for the cache looks like it was never formatted, if you moved the data to the array like the video show maybe it's still there.

Start the array in maintenance mode and post the output of:

xfs_repair -v /dev/md2
