February 5, 20233 yr I've been using unRAID since late 2008 and have not had any issues with the original flash drive. Unfortunately, I ran out of space on my original 2009 flash drive and tried to replace/upgrade it with a new one over Christmas week 2022. Over the last 5 weeks it has been one problem after another: Multiple kernel: usb 1-1: reset high-speed USB device number 2 using ehci-pci Multiple Directory Bread errors. Multiple errors that state the drive is not read-write Multiple errors stating the drive is disconnecting I have tried running chkdsk on it multiple times and each time it finds some type of corruption, which ends up creating multiple "FOUND.00X" directories and FSCK00XX.REC files. I have also tried reformatting the drive with a full format and starting over from scratch, but to no avail. II upgraded my license key to this drive only a few weeks ago; what is the process to obtain a new license key once I obtain yet another flash drive?

February 12, 20233 yr Author @limetech Please see above, replaced my flash drive back on 12/26/22 with a device that is causing multiple errors. I now have a new Kingston flash drive that appears to be working. Since it has been less than 1 year since updating the license key how do I update the key on this new Kingston flash drive? The registered GUID does not match the USB Flash boot device GUID The Registration key file does not correspond to the USB Flash boot device. Please copy the correct key file to the config directory on your USB Flash boot device. If you do not have a backup copy of your key file, Contact Support.
