Can't stop my array

Featured Replies

Had a series of power cuts and I am now suffering the consequences, the system is two parity disks and three data disks.

The server has rebooted and all VM's/dockers etc are working. However one parity disk and one data disk is showing an error "device is disabled, contents emulated"

Both pass SMART tests but I can't stop the array to try and replace the disks, or rebuild over them, as I get a constant error

"ARARRY STOPPING; RETRY UNMOUNTING DISK SHARE"

How would I go about resolving this?

Make sure there's no SSH connection opened on a mounted directory, you can also type reboot on the console, it should force a reboot if it can't unmount everything cleanly.

I can reboot from the GUI, it just gets to the same stage where I can spin everything down but it won't let me stop the array

Disable array auto start and boot in safe mode.

Thanks, that worked and the raid is being rebuilt now
