unRAID can't see GPU in x16 Slot on MOBO

Hello... I was hoping someone had any ideas on why my GPU (RTX 4090) cannot be detected in IOMMU group under system devices when plugged into the PCIe 3.0 x16 slot. The same GPU is detected just fine when in x8 slot. Has anyone experienced the same? Board is Supermicro X11SCA-F.  I've had the MOBO for quite awile and have never tried to plug anything into the x16 slot until now.
