Previously I had one of the mid-range Qnap NAS drives but thought to give Unraid a chance as I wanted to host some game servers. Love it so far. It's not only faster but it is much quieter as well! SPECS: Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2687W @ 3.10GHz x 2 64 GiB DDR3 Multi-bit ECC RAM 10GB NIC Cache pool Samsung SSD 850 2TB x2 Samsung SSD 870 1TB Storage pool Parity - 12 TB Disk 1- 10 TB Disk 2- 10 TB Disk 3 - 10 TB Disk 4 - 12 TB Disk 5 - 10 TB Disk 6 - 12 TB Z840 only have 4 bays for HDDs so I have this 4 Bay thingie to house 3 extra drives: Quote Link to comment
