Hello everyone,

 

I have an unraid server on 6.11.5 that is running multiple docker. Some of them are steam game server from ich77. These docker start steamcmd, download the game then start the game. For the last week, the server doesn't appear in the game server browser.

 

Upon looking at the log, I saw that it fail to start Steam. I tried creating a new server with all new files and steam fail with error

KeyValues Error: LoadFromBuffer: missing { (current key: '<!DOCTYPE') in file manifest [offset: 15] ../tier1/KeyValues.cpp (2925) : Assertion Failed: Error while parsing text KeyValues for resource manifest [----] !!! Fatal Error: Steamcmd needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again.

 

I tried disabling unbound and pihole, didn't help.

 

I tried with my backup server and everything is working fine, creating a new server make steam connect, update then download the game. I tried doing ping in these dockers and I can ping google no problem.

 

I created a Windows 10 VM and ran steamcmd, it worked.

 

I tried all different network type on the dockers and they all yield the same result.

 

If I check from online if the server are up with server tester, they are up so I know internet does go through.

 

Nothing changed in the past week. The only thing I did is try to use steam-headless and a debian docker to make a remote steam play but wasn't working (And I removed/delete everything).

 

What setting in unraid could make this server not have steamcmd able to connect to the internet anymore?

All other docker are working fine.

for added info. I just cleared all my docker, switch from docker.img to directory, cleared all my route and custom network, rebooted, and dockers from ich777 all can't have steamcmd working. If I take another steamcmd docker from someone else, it work. But I know Ich777 one's work cause they work on my other unraid................
