February 14, 20233 yr Halo I have a problem with reading the GUI on USB, Windows. No matter which USB I insert, it does not detect the Global Unique Identification. The GUI is visible in the task manager. I don't know how to get around that problem.
February 15, 20233 yr Not sure exactly what you are asking, perhaps this will help? https://wiki.unraid.net/Articles/Getting_Started#Manual_Install_Method
February 17, 20233 yr Author When I insert the USB and try to download UNRAID, I don't have a GUID (global unique identifier). When I go to the task-manager, the GUID is visible there. I tried with different USB sticks - 2.0, 3.0, 3.1, all with 128bit encryption, sandisk, samsung, and still no company connection. Thx
February 17, 20233 yr Use the manual method of creating the flash drive instead https://wiki.unraid.net/USB_Flash_Drive_Preparation#Windows_Vista_and_Windows_7 (Easiest to use a drive that's 32G or less with this)
February 19, 20233 yr Author I tried it all. As shown in the picture, I still have the same problem. I tried with 8g, 16g and 32g and it gives me the same error every time. And all the USB sticks I tried are 128 bit.
