When i and transferring the files from my system to my NAS, its showing Not enough space but my NAS have 3TB empty Space.

when i checked my disks from my UNraid UI, i come to know that my Cache disk is full. and now i dont know how to empty the CACHE disk.

MY NAS has 5disk of 2TB out of which 2 are parity disk and other 3 for storage file

and one 256gb ssd for cache

You are likely to get better informed feedback if you attach your system’s diagnostics zip file to your next post in this thread.

What do you have set for the Minimum Free Space for the cache pool?    This is an important setting as it sets the criteria for when Unraid should stop using the cache pool for new files.

You might also check the setting for the share that you are copying too...

and ensure that the 'Use cache pool' is set to yes... sounds like you currently have it set to only

Even if Yes, it won't overflow if Minimum for the pool isn't set.

Possibly you are also making the mistake of trying to cache initial data load which is larger than cache. It would be able to overflow if you had Minimum set though.

Diagnostics would take all the guesswork out of it.

ah... so your saying that the minimum setting also applies to the cache drive(s)... interesting... kinda feels like that should be a separate setting imo... but ok

It is. That's exactly what we have been talking about
