July 25, 201114 yr Yesterday I installed unRAID on my new server. Formatting Hard Drives and Parity-Check is now completed (took 7 hours!) and there is no error. So whats next to make sure everything is working fine before I can start copying files to hard drives and install software? Screenshot:
July 25, 201114 yr It sounds as if you just completed the initial parity calculation. That wrote to the parity disk based on the data on the data disks. You now need to perform a manual parity check. (It will read the parity disk and the data disks to verify what you wrote to the parity disk was written correctly and the parity disk has no un-readable sectors) So, press the "Check" button. Joe L.

Just a quick question, what "Split level" should be for this? disk1 -> [Movies] -> [Films] -> [Gladiator] -> clip file and image disk1 -> [Movies] -> [Films] -> [Terminator] -> clip file and image disk1 -> [Movies] -> [boxing] -> [Mayweather vs Judah] -> clip file and image disk1 -> [Movies] -> [boxing] -> [Muhammad Ali] -> clip file and image Share name is "Movies" and Allocation method is High-Water.. im guess Split level should be 1?
