carnivorebrah Posted February 24, 2023 Posted February 24, 2023 (edited) I am in the process of trying to setup Nextcloud from scratch, but wanted to back up my old copy of it to have just in case I needed something from it. I tried renaming the "nextcloud" share I had in Unraid to "nextcloud_bak", but when I clicked "Apply" it said "nextcloud_bak" deleted, and then all of my shares disappeared. I have no idea what to do. I have 15TB of data and I'm freaking out because I can't access any of my shares any more. I tried downloading diagnostics, but it just sits there never downloading. Please help! When I try to cd to the "user" directory, it gives this error now: bash: cd: user: Transport endpoint is not connected Edited February 24, 2023 by carnivorebrah Quote

They won't download. I don't know what else to do. I have not tried rebooting, but honestly I'm scared to try that. Edited February 24, 2023 by carnivorebrah Quote
Solution carnivorebrah Posted February 24, 2023 Author Solution Posted February 24, 2023 Wow, okay, rebooting fixed it. Now the renamed share is showing up with the new name and all the other shares. I really wish it would have just said "Reboot to apply changes" instead of "share name deleted". At least I still have my data which is what matters in the end. Quote
