February 25, 20233 yr Author Ok more troubleshooting. My case is a Jonsbo N1 so kinda small space. I rerouted all the wires cause I thought maybe they wires were putting a strain on the card. Now i get every other boot. Scenario: I boot with card inserted it works. Restart doesn't work. Reboot without card boots. Place card back in boots up.
February 25, 20233 yr Community Expert Maybe try forcing the PCIe slot speed to Gen3 in the BIOS? Edited February 25, 20233 yr by Kilrah
February 25, 20233 yr Author I think its possible the chip is getting to hot. I increased fan speeds on chassis and cpu to get more air to the card. Seems to be keeping it stable. Maybe I try and print a fan holder to add more cooling in future.
