Trying to get linkreal quad nvme card that has a pex8747 on it for the bifurcation to run but doesn't boot. Here is a link to it: https://www.newegg.com/linkreal-lrnv9547l-4i-pci-express/p/14G-0600-00033

It boots perfectly without the card installed, but not with card in. I have gotten it to boot a few times but not sure how.  When it doesn't boot i can't even get to bios screen. Help please.

read your MoBo's manual very carefully.

Some (aka "many") have certain restrictions when using bifurbication. For instance mine does not allow a Device plugged into slot #2, others only support 8x/8x mode or totally different strange settings.

I have no clue about yours, so read...

I'm probably missing something, but what USB stick are you using to boot?

MrGrey.

I am using a Samsung 64gb plugged into the internal USB c connector

Ok more troubleshooting. My case is a Jonsbo N1 so kinda small space. I rerouted all the wires cause I thought maybe they wires were putting a strain on the card. Now i get every other boot. Scenario: I boot with card inserted it works. Restart doesn't work. Reboot without card boots. Place card back in boots up.

I think its possible the chip is getting to hot. I increased fan speeds on chassis and cpu to get more air to the card. Seems to be keeping it stable. Maybe I try and print a fan holder to add more cooling in future.
