February 26, 20233 yr I've been having some really weird issues with my array. They all involve Disk 15 which is the highest numbered disk in the array. This is a supermicro server so it has the backplane setup. Issues: 1. Disk 15 dropped off the array during a parity check in November. I was told that it disconnected and reconnected. I rebuilt it on the same disk. 2. Disk 15 dropped off the array again in January. I replaced the disk with a new disk. 3. Disk 15 dropped off the array in February so I swapped it to a new slot. I'm waiting until March to see what happens, but now, it won't spin down. I've run both the Open Files and Dynamix Active Streams plugins and both show no usage except for /config/ or other docker containers on the cache drive. I've manually tried spinning it down and it spins right back up. Is it possible I've hit some weird bug where disk 15 is as high as I can go? tower-diagnostics-20230226-1029.zip
