July 26, 201114 yr Hello all, I am new to unRaid and will setup my first unRaid server the next days. I browsed the forum and feel good prepared for setting it up. Still, I am not sure about how to shutdown the server. I plan to use unRaid like a NAS Box for daily operations. It will not run 24x7, I like to switch it on, when I need it, and shut it down, when I do not need it anymore. For power up and shut down I just like to use the power button of the PC case and not the web interface. Power up using the power button is obivously not a problem. I know, that Linux could detect, if the power button is pressed again and will shutdown. But... Will unRaid will be stopped PROPERLY if the power button at the case is pressed? Maybe its a foolish question, but I want be on the the save side...... Greetings Carsten
