Advice From Reddit Page Bricked My Rig - Need it Running Tomorrow!

Featured Replies

Here is the link with the thread on Reddit and advice I followed:

Basically, I botched my SSD swap and had to rebuild my Windows 10 VM. Then my Nvidia 1080Ti wouldn't passthrough. So following the advice given I followed the UnRAID prompt to go to "VM Manager page and set the PCIe ACS override setting to Disabled" and pinned my GPU plus it's sound components (showed as two separate items) under tools-->system devices-->check boxes for both items-->reboot-->bricked.

What the hell happened and how do I get my rig back up and running for work tomorrow?

Forgot detail.

Delete /boot/config/vfio-pci.cfg and reboot.

Thank you, this at least got my server back up and running.

How should I go about fixing my Windows 10 VM? That is what I need for work since it is my only way of using my GPU.

I would, but there is no error code, just a black screen. Followed SIOs video to the 9 without any luck.
