Will this cable work for the Supermicro Aoc SASLP-MV8 card, which I will put in a Norco 4220?

 

I made a mistake when I ordered and I ordered two of the cards and four sets of those cables. I know I don't need all four so if the card does work I was going to send three back and then get the single cable from Raj's project post.

No, that cable will not work with a Norco 4220.  That is a forward breakout cable (note the 'f' in the model number: CBL-SFF8087OCF-05M).  You need a reverse breakout cable, such as this.  Also, for anyone who does need a forward breakout cable, they can be purchased for much cheaper at Monoprice or Superbiiz.
