having an issue updating Unraid to 6.11.5 won't boot after update.

Featured Replies

I made a mistake and thought the bugs might be worked out and went for the stable update to 6.11.5 but for got to make a back up of my flash and I don't remember what version I had before. I looked on the flash drive after I updated and the most recent diagnostics said I was running version 6.8.2. I have tried a few things I found through google and this form. I made a back up of the flash and tried to redownload the 6.11.5 update and copy over the BZ* files and try a reboot and was unsuccessful. I also tried to reload the back up I made back on to the flash drive and replace the previous files back into the main directory which made the boot problem worse. causing it to boot off flash but wouldn't make it past verifying the BZBOOT OR BZROOT  check section. I am planning to try something I saw and reload 6.8.2 and transfer over the config file and pray it will boot again. I have attached the boot screens when it first was upgraded and would not boot. Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

Prepare your flash drive as a new install of whichever version and see if that boots. If it boots, copy your config folder from your backup, and see if it will boot in SAFE mode
