nvme drive missing on a new unraid machine

Featured Replies

Hello, I am trying to setup a NAS using unraid and this is all new to me. I have a Dell Optiplex 7050M with 32 gigs of ram and a 1TB nvme m.2 for storage. I am not seeing the nvme drive in unraid but i clearly see it in the bios. I have made sure that the SATA mode was set to AHCI as well.
When unraid boots I see some issues around nvme...

I have tried appending nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0 pcie_aspm=off to my syslinux but same results.
I have also power cycled my machine multiple times to no success.

the M.2 chip is brand new: Intel 670p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 QLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDPEKNU010TZX1

Diagnostic attached below.

Device is failing to initialize, don't know why, do you have a different model NVMe device you could try?

Yeah I ended up testing the M.2s I have on my PC. Both of them worked fine. So it was an issue with the m.2 I was trying. Thanks for the response!
