March 3, 20233 yr Hello, I am trying to setup a NAS using unraid and this is all new to me. I have a Dell Optiplex 7050M with 32 gigs of ram and a 1TB nvme m.2 for storage. I am not seeing the nvme drive in unraid but i clearly see it in the bios. I have made sure that the SATA mode was set to AHCI as well. When unraid boots I see some issues around nvme... March 3, 20233 yr Solution Device is failing to initialize, don't know why, do you have a different model NVMe device you could try?
March 17, 20233 yr Author Yeah I ended up testing the M.2s I have on my PC. Both of them worked fine. So it was an issue with the m.2 I was trying. Thanks for the response!
